About MayoMile

MayoMile launched in 2025 — but the person behind it didn't start in an office, they started in the driver's seat. Ten years of OTR experience shaped a simple idea: give owner-operators a real pay floor, sleeper-cab equipment worth driving, and a carrier that treats you like a partner, not a load number.
We're small on purpose. That means decisions get made by people who've actually sat where you sit — not a call center reading from a script.
Guaranteed Pay Floor
$1,700/week minimum when you're available for dispatch 5 of 7 days — know your number before you leave the yard.

Requirements
Owner-Operator Minimum Requirements
We run a tight, DOT-compliant program. Review every category below before you apply — MayoMile evaluates qualification on a case-by-case basis.
Age & License
- At least 23 years of age
- Class A CDL — or Class B CDL for Expedited operations — with HazMat (H) or combination (X) endorsement
Driving Record (previous 36 months)
- No more than two at-fault accidents and two moving violations — or no more than one at-fault accident and three moving violations
- No preventable DOT-recordable accident within the past 12 months
- No license suspension exceeding 30 days for moving violations
- No more than one serious violation under FMCSR §383.51 Table 2
- No railroad-highway grade-crossing offenses under FMCSR §383.51 Table 3
- No citations or convictions for reckless driving or careless endangerment
Experience
- At least 1 year verifiable OTR experience within the past 3 years, or 2 years within the past 5 years
- Expedited operations: minimum 6 months verifiable OTR experience may be accepted
- Experience must be on equipment comparable to what you'll operate with MayoMile
Background & Legal
- No felony convictions within the past 7 years (other charges reviewed case-by-case)
- No positive drug or alcohol tests — SAP program completion does not waive this requirement
- No DUI charges within the past 60 months in a personal or non-commercial vehicle; CMV DUI charges or convictions are never permitted
- Sufficient English proficiency to read signage, respond to official inquiries, complete reports, and communicate with the public
These are minimum owner-operator qualification standards and remain subject to all applicable DOT requirements. MayoMile may impose additional or more stringent requirements at its discretion. Qualification decisions are made by MayoMile on a case-by-case basis.
